Powered by an in-house chronometer-certified self-winding movement, this rugged and ready Tudor Black Bay watch creates a huge wrist presence, thanks to its confident 41mm stainless steel case. It Features a steel unidirectional rotating bezel topped with a matt blue anodised aluminium disc to show remaining dive minutes. This men’s Tudor Black Bay watch Features retro sporty aesthetics carried through from the company’s original range of 1950’s diving instruments. A domed black dial with grey indexes presents the time legibly alongside a set of chunky luminous coated central hands. The COSC-certified Calibre MT5602 movement will provide the wearer with an impressive 70-hour power reserve for those periods where he wishes to alternate the timepiece with another Tudor favourite. The watch will keep perfect time without missing a beat. This 200-meter water resistant men’s Black Bay watch secures to the wrist with a robust riveted stainless steel bracelet. A highly durable folding clasp promises a close fit against the skin, as well as an innovative safety clasp. The steel screw-down winding crown on this watch is adorned with an engraving of Tudor’s iconic rose motif. Its surface has also been black lacquered and finished with a blue anodised aluminium winding crown tube to match the finish on the diver’s bezel.

I’ve had this black dial GMT-Master II homage for over a month now, and it’s become my go-to daily watch. The design is sleek and minimalist compared to the more colorful Pepsi or Batman versions — which makes it perfect for both work and casual wear. The black ceramic bezel has a subtle shine that catches the light just right, and the dial is deep and rich with perfectly aligned markers. The second time zone feature works as expected, and the independent hand is easy to set. The movement has been consistent, gaining around 8 seconds a day, which is well within what I’d expect from a mechanical. For the price, the build quality and finish are phenomenal. It’s hard to believe it’s not the real thing at a glance.
